How To Stream Your Movies And Shows It To Your Computer
0One of the more popular things going around currently is social networking. Even though lots of people are getting bored with it or getting annoyed with all the sharing, it is still being discovered by millions of people each month. That means that it quite possibly isn’t going anywhere, anytime soon. Every commercial that you see or on the label of every package that you read or every ad, they invite you to join them on Facebook or Twitter.
No matter how annoying it is to some people, it will not be going away any time soon. For fans of this type of service or really any online entertainment, there are new televisions that incorporate the technology right into the television set. Home Theater Basic Tips
0Lately my spouse has initiated a campaign to convince me to build a whole home theater facility at the basement. I do understand that her passion for such a facility is due to her great love for the art of movies. But, personally I’d prefer watching a movie at the cinema. Especially this is true for an action movie with a lot of effects. I do find that the experience of the special effects, the detailed close-ups, and landscapes dramatically enhanced on a big screen at the cinema, compared to a smaller screen at home. Something there is lost.
Home theater thus must provide the visual and audio experience as similar as possible to the large screen and the enhanced audio multi-channel at the cinema. This requires a big screen with an adequate projector, or at least, a big TV set with high sensitivity and high refreshing frequency. Furthermore, a good home theater facility requires appropriate audio system, a video player, a DVD player, and of course, an impressive seating set, for you and for your hosts.

7.1 Surround Sound Speakers
17.1 surround sound speakers are the big-daddies of home entertainment: expensive, powerful, and exceptionally clear. You will be hard pressed to find a set of 7.1 surround sound speakers that don’t cost a small fortune. But if you want the best performance, then there is nothing better to invest in.
A 7.1 surround sound speaker system typically includes one woofer, one central speaker, two side speakers, and four satellite speakers. Most models also include an amplifier. This setup creates an entire ‘wall of sound’, pulling you completely into the TV/movie watching experience. Combine a 7.1 surround sound speaker system with a large screen plasma/LCD/LED TV, and you will never want to spend money in a movie theater again! (more…)
Designing a Whole House Audio System
0FOUR CRITICAL QUESTIONS TO ASK BEFORE YOU START YOUR SYSTEM DESIGN.
1. What, exactly, is whole house audio?
Whole house audio is, you guessed it, audio for your whole house! And while that may seem like a “no brainer” answer, when it comes to planning and implementing whole house audio it is anything but a “no-brainer”. (more…)
